Highly insulated houses with double outer walls
Taiga Loghouse offers its customers a fundamentally new technological solution for thermal insulation of wooden log houses - double external walls and a special longitudinal groove that protects from the wind. This allows you to build environmentally friendly solid wood houses with a thermal insulation index:
Uwerte = 0,14 W/(m²·K).
See Log houses with double outer walls for details.
Our thorn groove logs
The basis of our production is the production line, consisting of machine tools fabricated in Sweden and Germany ("Stenlund" and "Wema-Probst" companies, respectively). This modern equipment has not only significantly increased productivity, but also guarantees high-quality log processing.
A special technology for manufacturing a log profile with a thorn groove increases the thermal insulation properties of the walls against the wind. At the same time, when assembling, we, of course, use jute insulation, the price of which is included in the cost of components for the construction of a log house.

Foundation choice
Before starting the construction of a house, the question inevitably arises which foundation to choose (strip, pile-screw, slab). We can help you to choose the best option for the foundation in accordance with your capabilities and configuration of the house, design, prepare and make. For our part, we offer a new technology for the construction of reliable concrete foundations! Reinforced concrete pile foundation, which, on the one hand, is distinguished by the normal ventilation of the lower logs (unlike a strip foundation), on the other hand, it is not subject to decay, like a pile-screw foundation, and is not so expensive like a slab foundation. For a wooden house, this type of foundation is the most acceptable both in terms of price and operation.
See Foundation choice and Right foundation for a wooden house for details.
Warm roof construction
We have extensive experience in the construction of warm roofs. In order not to waste the space, especially since the outrigger structure of the roof allows this, we recommend a warm roofing cake arranged in the thickness of the rafter system.

Openings' jambs
Openings' jambs form a door or window opening and serve to improve thermal insulation, install door and window frames and prevent improper wall shrinkage.
A vertical cut is prepared in advance in the wall opening (in our case, the logs are already made by the machine taking it into account), into which a 50 x 50 mm guide bar is inserted, to which the jamb is attached. It is better if the jamb also has a recess of the same width by which the jamb is mounted. Then this bar protects against direct blowing from the street into the room.

Exterior and interior decoration of the house
We also make with interior and exterior decoration of the house.
